Ruth B. Green, 89, of Amarillo, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 in Amarillo. Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Prairie Lawn Cemetery in Wellington, Kansas. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage Amarillo, Texas 79103. She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Green, an infant son, Tommy Green; a grandson Brent Howell; a great-grandson Christopher Botkin and one brother. Visitation will be Thursday at Frank Funeral Home in Wellington Kansas from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM. She is survived by a daughter, Vicki Howell of Amarillo; one granddaughter, Kim Rains of Amarillo; three great-grandchildren, Cory, Kristi, and Corbyn all of Amarillo; a sister, Bess Wenger of Long Beach California; one nephew and several nieces.
