Sammy Joe Smith 76, of Amarillo, TX. Born December 15, 1940. Passed October 4, 2017. He was proceeded in death by; his Father Thomas Calvin Smith of Popular Bluff, MO, Mother Fern Lillian (Eagleton) Smith of Perryton, TX, Wife Millie Smith of Amarillo, TX. He is survived by his; Brother J.R. Smith of Amarillo, TX. Sammy was a truck driver for over 30 years, he loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing poker and a great game of billiards pool. He was always cracking jokes and was loved by many. Eileen Ramos and her family Jimmy Gonzales, Claudia Robles, Ramiro Guillen Jr, Azelia Parrie, Garrett Ramos, Kenny Cuppernell, and their dog LuCoa of Amarillo, TX, took great care of him the last three months of his life.
