Sandra Drezek

Sandra Drezek 59, of Amarillo died, Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, November 6, 2015 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Billy Joe Loyless officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Sandra was born on November 10, 1955 in Memphis, to James Darrell and Peggy Childress. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She graduated from Amarillo High School and received her Licensed Vocational Nurse accreditation from Amarillo College. Sandra loved her career as a LVN. She was very caring and enjoyed helping others in every way she could. She was always going above and beyond for her friends, family and her patients. Sandra also cherished her grandchildren and loved the quality time they spent together. She married Casey Drezek on August 22, 1985 in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Scott Green. She is survived by her husband, Casey of Adrian; one daughter, Tara Childress of Amarillo; one son, Kelley Green and his wife Stephanie of Adrian; her mother, Peggy Childress of Amarillo; one sister, Bev Velasquez of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, James Childress and Don Childress both of Amarillo; and 8 grandchildren, Alyssa, Raylee, Raina, Hannah, Reese, Jada, Kiersen and Kennedy.
