Sandra Kaye Phelps

Sandra Kaye Phelps 54, of Amarillo died Thursday April 9, 2009 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Herman ""Skeeter"" Fogle, Baptist minister officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Sandra was born December 21, 1954 in Salina, Kansas to Robert and Mary Brooks. She graduated from Caprock High School and Amarillo college of Hairdressing. After many years of owning her own beauty salon, Sandra retired and devoted herself to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife mother an grandmother. Her life was centered around her family and friends. Sandra married Billy Phelps in 1978 near Clarksville. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2006. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Danna Fogle and her fianc Joe Ellison of Amarillo; a son, Justin Phelps and his wife Sarah of Amarillo; her father, Robert Brooks of Amarillo; 1 brother, Steve Brooks and his wife Kim of Amarillo; a neice, Holly Phelps of the home; 4 grandsons, Brody Fogle, Bryson Phelps, Kelton Ellison and Triston Phelps; 2 granddaughters, Kori and Shelbie Ellison and several nieces and nephews.
