Sharla Poer of Amarillo died Mon. December 9, 2019. Service is 2:00 PM Thurs. Dec. 12 at Rector Funeral Home officiated by Daryl Roach. Family will receive friends Tues. and Wed. from 4-7:30 PM at Rector Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage. Sharla was born November 22, 1954 in Tampa Fl. to Ruth and Loyd Kinikin. She was very outspoken, stubborn, strong willed and temperamental. Sharla didnt mind voicing her opinion. Sharla was strong hearted. She was kind hearted and gentle. Sharla's children and grandchildren were her whole world. Her family meant more to her then life itself. Sharla spent more then 29 years with the love of her life David. She was the type of woman who walked to her own beat, she was so unique. Sharla loved to talk to her friends. Her family all agreed she was long winded but that was their mom. She loved hockey. Her favorite team was the Amarillo Rattlers and the Dallas Stars. Her favorite football team was anyone BUT the Dallas Cowboys. She Enjoyed riding on motorcycles. Sharla was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Larry Wayne Green. She is survived by her husband, her son L.J. Green, two daughters; Jennifer Gabehart and her husband Randy Harris, Letha and her husband Michael Wells, four brothers; Loyd and his wife Anita Kinikin, Buddy and his wife Rita Kinikin, and James Kinikin, and Nate and his wife Denise Graham, three sisters; Darla and her husband Larry Kennedy, Lovoice and her husband Jerry Nored, and Evelyn and her husband Kelly Parrack, 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
