Sharron E. Williamson, 77 of Amarillo went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday November 28, 2012. Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Rev. Don Speedy, senior pastor and Rev. Tom Fatka, retired Baptist minister officiating. Burial will be at Field of Valor in Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Williamson was born on January 8, 1935 in Seattle, WA. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was employed at AT&T for more than 30 years. She married Orville O. Williamson in 1975. Mrs. Williamson and her husband were devout Christians. They served as summer missionaries to Brazil, Singapore and the United States. They were very involved with Cornerstone Community Center in Fort Worth for many years. They were honored for their service and missionary work by having a free health clinic named after them in Fort Worth. Mrs. Williamson had a heart for serving others in the name of Jesus Christ. She started a Christmas project in 2005 in which she would select a nursing home in the panhandle area and decorate a small, living Christmas tree for each of the residents. She would also include gifts that she handpicked and wrapped herself. Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her husband in 2008. She was looking forward to meeting her two unborn great-grandchildren. She is survived by one son, Michael Webster and his wife Diane of Garland; one daughter, Debbie Patterson and her husband Randy of Amarillo; 3 brothers, Patrick W.E. Smith of Stanley, NC, Richard H. Smith and Michael W. Smith both of Lyndale; 2 adopted children, Willie Mae Turner of Oklahoma City and Jeannie Garcia of Fort Worth; 6 grandchildren, Maureen, Megan, Matthew, Mara, Dawn and Andrew; 2 great-grandchildren and her precious Yorkie, Blue.
