Sheley G. Stone

Sheley G. Stone, 85, of Amarillo, TX passed away Monday, September 1, 2025.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Rector Funeral Home. Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025 at Rector Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S Osage St.

Sheley was born April 12, 1940, in Chalk, TX, to Hayden and Loraine (Jones) Stone.

He married Shirley Chadwick on December 9, 1960, in Dumas, TX.

Sheley was a heavy equipment mechanic and operator and worked for ASCO for 19 years. He was a Master Mason and Shriner.

He was preceded in death by his 15 older siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Stones, of the home; son, Rocky Stone, of Lubbock, TX; daughter, Margie Stone, of Amarillo, TX; nine grandkids, Sheldon, Nichole, Amy, Tisha, April, Beau, Niini, Alton, and Matthew; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and another on the way.
