Shellie Kay Rinne

Shellie Kay Rinne 46, of Canyon died Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Amarillo. Services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with J.J. Rinne, husband and Marty Teitel, friend, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Tuesday at Wilbarger Memorial Park Cemetery in Vernon. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Shellie was born on April 3, 1967 in Abilene to Jessie and Glenna Gail Appleby. She was raised in Vernon and moved to Canyon in 2006. She and her husband owned Innovative Nutrition. Shellie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. More importantly, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was always sharing her faith with others. She never complained during her nearly 4 year battle with cancer. Shellie loved gardening and breeding and raising animals. She married Robert Allen King in 1990. He preceded her in death in 2003. She married J.J. Rinne in 2006 in Vernon. She was also preceded in death by her mother. Shellie is survived by her husband, J.J. 4 sons, Blade King and his wife Michelle, Thad King, Beau King and Luke King all of Canyon; 1 daughter, Hannah King of Amarillo; her father, Jessie Appleby of Vernon; 1 brother, Marty Appleby of Vernon and 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Joshua and Annabelle. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Olivias Angels in care of BSA Hospice.
