Shere' Lynn Waltz

Shere Waltz 31, of Amarillo died Saturday March 3, 2018 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Church at Quail Creek Church with Dale Moreland, officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Shere was born July 8, 1986 in Amarillo to Cindy Brock of Amarillo and Bryon Waltz of Roundup, Montana. Shere grew up in Amarillo, and graduated from Caprock High School. She was a big part of Special Olympics, Shere loved bowling, basketball and track. She was a very spirited individual and her smile was contagious. She never met a stranger. Everyone that knew Shere loved her. Shere loved her family very much. She called each of them every Sunday after church. She was so special to everyone that she even inspired her cousin Katrina Tomlin to become a Special Education Teacher. Shere is survived by her parents Cindy and Steve Brock of Amarillo, sister Mindy Cook of Amarillo, Amy Meyer and husband Brandon "Brother" Meyer and their children Quintin and Maxwell Meyer of Amarillo; sister Katrina Shaw and husband John Shaw and their children Cheyann Shaw and her two children, Troys Shaw, Robert Shaw all of Amarillo; brother Aaron Brock of Tallahassee, Florida; sister Jennifer Williams and husband Justin Williams and their children Jaxon, Micah, Ruby Williams all of Sunray; her Favorite Uncle Bill Turner of Lincolnville, Kansas, and Aunt Mary Gunnels of Canadian, Texas; and two of her favorite cousins Teaira Relph and wife Emily Relph of Garden City, Kansas and Diadra Turner and her three children of El Dorado, Kansas. And many loving friends and other family members. Shere was preceded in death by her favorite person of all her Grandmother Hilda Billie Williams. Viewing will be Thursday and Friday 9:00 am 8:00 pm at Rector Funeral Home The family will receive friends from 5:30 -7:00 Friday at the funeral home.
