Sherrie Lynn Slayton

Sherrie Lynn Slayton 61, of Amarillo, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 2 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Trinity Fellowship North, 503 E. Willow Creek Dr., with Bo Williams, pastor officiating. Sherrie was born in Atlanta, GA. She moved to Amarillo in 1986 from Borger. Sherrie owned and operated Taxequences. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyed helping others with tax issues. Sherrie loved to travel and had visited Greece, Rome, and Israel. She was a devout Christian and was always sharing the Gospel with those she met. Sherrie was also a published author. She wrote, "How To Love Your Husband, No Matter What". She married Bobby Slayton on October 21, 1986. She was a faithful member of Trinity Fellowship North. Survivors include her husband, Bobby; four sons, Steven Tibbets, Jarred Tibbets, Bobby Slayton, II, and Michael Slayton; three daughters, Shelia Been, Ginger Hanson, and Laura Slayton; one brother, Gary Willoughby; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
