Sherry Walker

Sherry Walker, 64 of 4005 Harmony died Thursday, September 19, 2002. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at Paramount Baptist Church with Rev. F.M Byford officiating. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Walker was born in Lakeview. She moved to Amarillo in 1981 from Pampa. Mrs. Walker graduated from Howard Payne University with a BA in secondary education. She taught school in Happy, Pampa and Amarillo. She retired in 1993 from Crockett Middle School. Mrs. Walker was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She married Dwain Walker in 1961 at Tulia. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include: her husband of the home; 3 sons; Chuck Walker of Round Rock, Rodney Walker of Amarillo and David Walker of Cibolo, 2 brothers; Royce Denton of Goree and Dennis Denton of Tulia and 8 grandchildren.
