Shirley Dee Turpen-Moore

Shirley Dee Turpen-Moore, 84, of Claude died Tuesday, November 3, 2020. No services are Scheduled. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Shirley was born in Goodlett on November 20, 1935, to Mildred and Raymond Turpen. She was a loving mother and grandmother that absolutely adored spending quality time with her grandchildren. Her favorite thing to do was to read to them. She was so organized and good at planning; she could prepare a whole thanksgiving meal and make sure each dish was hot when you sat down to eat. Shirley was also a very patient woman with a heart of gold. She was just an all-around excellent person. She married the love of her life, Lee, on August 29, 1953, sharing 67 wonderful years of marriage. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jimmy Moore, one sister, Barbara Alford, and her husband Wayne. She is survived by her husband Lee Moore, one son, Davy Moore, one daughter, Christie Martin and her husband Andy, six grandchildren; John, Anna, Simon, Sissy, Sylvia, and Danny, one sister, Mary Ella Jett, one niece Maribeth Martin, four nephews; Tony Alford, Raymond, Marvin, and Jeff Jett, and many other nieces and nephews all over the country.
