Stephen Douglas Chance

Stephen Douglas ""Doug"" Chance, 43, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010. Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Chance was born July 23, 1967, in Beaumont to Laverda Gluszek and Sidney Chance. He worked with Chance Brothers Roofing for many years. Survivors include his mother, Laverda Gluszek of Amarillo; his father, Sidney Chance and wife Marvina of Onalaska; two brothers, Lee and wife Sara of Onalaska and Teddy and wife Trish of Amarillo; four sisters, Dixie and husband David and Tammie, all of Amarillo, Emily and husband Dwayne of Onalaska, and Becky and husband Jerry of Ace; his grandparents, Doyle and Laverda Hughes of Dumas; 11 nieces; 12 nephews; four great-nieces; two great-nephews; and a dear friend, Randy Kay.
