Tabitha Shea Sims

Tabitha Shea Sims, of Amarillo died Sunday, March 24, 2019 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 2 Pm Saturday at Temple of Praise, 1900 west Amarillo Boulevard. Arrangements made by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Tabitha was born December 2, 1981 to Juan Fuentes Jr. and Cristina Alonzo. She had a heart of gold and loved everyone. She always had a positive outlook in life, even when she got sick Tabitha had a good since of humor, wanting to make everyone laugh and smile. She enjoyed singing and dancing at the family reunion talent show. Tabitha is an inspiration to Christians, not only did she preach the word but she lived the word of God. The word of God put a smile on her face that was larger then life itself. Tabitha married the love of her life James Sims February 5,2007. Tabitha was an amazing mother and wife; her family was her pride and joy. Tabitha is survived by her parents Cristina Alonzo and boyfriend Bruce Carlton, Juan and wife Gloria Fuentes, four daughters, Samarah, Janai, Imani, and baby Minerva, son Jude, three step-daughters Jasmine, Jamise and Jovan and one step son James Aaron Sims; two brothers Johnny and Armando Fuentes, sister Cynthia Fuentes, three step brothers, Albert, Robert and Gilbert Lucero, two step sisters Debbie Ramirez and Kristie Lucero, two Grandmothers Carman Fuentes and Elida Alonzo. Tabitha Is preceded in death by her brother Scott James Fuentes, Aunt Patricia Lopez and Grandfather Juan Fuentes Sr. Tabitha will be missed by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
