Tammy Rodgers

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 24 at Christian Heritage Church with Gary Burd, pastor. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Tammy was born August 18, 1966, in Amarillo to Boyd and Geraldene Jones. She attended Caprock High School. She currently worked as a secretary for Child Protective Services. She married Jim Rodgers November 17, 1990. Tammy was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and best friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake, entertaining, decorating, and taking pictures of her family. She was preceded in death by her father Boyd Jones and a brother Raymond Jones. Survivors included her mother Geraldene Jones, 3 sons Michael Stowe, Jason Stowe and wife Dominique, Erik Rodgers and wife Marlaina all of Amarillo. 2 sisters Terri Ledford and husband Jim, Toni Hale and husband Larry; 2 brothers Damon Jones and wife Lisa, Jeff Jones and wife Juanita all of Amarillo,2 granddaughters Braelynn and Micah along with 13 nieces and nephews. Tammy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
