Tanya Riley 60, of Amarillo died Sunday, January 27, 2013 in Amarillo Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday February 2, 2013 at the Jubilee Apostolic Church 5804 Erik Ave Amarillo, TX 79106 with Rev. Nathan Carrington officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Tanya was born on December 7, 1952 in Amarillo to Cleo and Lola Golden. She graduated from Amarillo High School. Tanya was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a devoted member of Jubilee Apostolic Church. Tanya was engaged to Steve Dunlap on January 15, 2013, they had been together for 10 years. She loved traveling and animals she had rescued and placed more than 35 animals in 2012. Tanya was a certified Veterinarian Tech for more than 20 years. She worked as the office manager for Amarillo Veterinarian Clinic for several years. She was preceded in death by: her parents and a brother, Bill Golden Survivors include her Fianc Steve Dunlap:two daughters, Terra Riley of Austin, and Mara Riley of Cameron, N.C. One sister Katie Hagerman Bunny of Amarillo, and two grandchildren: Ella and Adrian Jackson of Austin In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the Amarillo Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
