Timmie Richard Harper

Timmie Richard Harper 55, of Amarillo died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Dale Travis, pastor of Family Life Fellowship Church. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Timmie was born in Amarillo. He worked at IBP/Tyson several years ago. He was a very accomplished house painter and was great at texturing. He took great pride in doing his best job for every customer he helped. He had worked for Palmer Painting and was also a self-employed paint contractor. Timmie loved life and lived every day to the fullest. He enjoyed motorcycles and being outdoors. He was truly One of a Kind. Timmie loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews. They were the children he never had. He attended Family Life Fellowship and was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Castleberry and his mother, Jeanice Harper. He married Laura Levitt on May 4, 1981 in Amarillo He is survived by his wife, Laura, his father, Mac Sid Harper of Amarillo and a brother Terry Castleberry of Amarillo. The family requests memorial donations to a favorite charity in lieu of flowers.
