Timothy Wayne ""Tim"" Crumpton 45, formerly of Amarillo passed away Monday May 25, 2009 in Amarillo. Private family services will be Thursday in Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Tim was born in Lubbock. He began his career in the grocery business at the age of 15, working at United Supermarkets. He served as the Amarillo district manager from 1988-1995. He moved to Dalhart where he owned and operated Crumptons Supermarket for 5 years. Tim enjoyed playing golf. He loved riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends. He married Becky Skelton on July 20, 1985 in Dalhart. He is survived by his wife, 1 son, Brad Crumpton of Amarillo; 1 daughter, Morgan Crumpton of Tuscaloosa, AL; 1 brother, Tony Crumpton of Lubbock; 1 sister, Cindy Higgins of El Paso; and his parents Bob and Ruth Ann Crumpton of Ruidoso, NM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International 120 Wall Street, 19th Floor New York, NY 10005.
