Tommie Lanell Creel

Tommie Lanell Creel, 69 of Amarillo died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002 in Amarillo. Memorial Services will be at 3:00 PM Monday at Pleasant Valley Christian Church with Jerry Davey, pastor officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Creel was born in Floydada. She moved to Amarillo in 1955 from Plainview. She was a homemaker and had worked for Emerson Elementary School and Olsen Park Elementary as a teachers aid. She retired from Olsen Park Elementary in 2000. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Christian Church. She married Joe A. Creel in 1956 at Clovis. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 2 daughters; Kelly Zinsmeyer of Lubbock and Edie Willingham of Amarillo, 2 sons; Mitch Creel and Mike Creel both of Amarillo, 1 brother; Herman Hart of Lubbock and 9 grandchildren.
