Tommy C. King, 50 of Amarillo died November 25, 2016 in Amarillo, TX. A potluck and gathering of family and friends will be at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the Zita Event Center, 9602 FM 1541, Amarillo, Texas 79118. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Tommy was born in Portales, NM to Thomas C. King and Norma Lee Davis King on August 14, 1966. He married Viola on January 1, 2000. They moved to Amarillo where he worked for BNSF Railroad for 11 years. Tommy was known for his quick wit and good sense of humor. You knew when he picked on you it was always done in fun. He always liked to stay busy, whether he was working around the house, helping others, or cooking food. Tommy was a man who loved spending time with his family and loved ones. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, father, Thomas C. King; mother, Norma Lee Davis King; and a son, Steven Bustos. Tommy is survived by his wife of 16 years, Viola King; his twin brother, Lonny wife Bobbi King of Midland, TX; two sisters, Michelle and husband Randy Hanson of Eden Valley, MN and Jamie King of Portales, NM; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas and wife Emily King of Muskogee, OK; Johnny Jr Bustos of Amarillo, TX; three daughters and sons-in-law, Margie and Thomas Chase of Frederick MD, Marcie and Jesse Dominguez of Fredericksburg, VA, and Andrea and OJ Lopez of Clovis NM; three nieces, one nephew, five granddaughters, eleven grandsons.
