Tyla Morrison

Tyla Temple-Morrison 61, of Amarillo died Monday July 12, 2010 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Lubbock with Mike Martindale, pastor of Heights Fellowship officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Tyla was born in Lubbock on January 17, 1949 to Robert and Alice (Hearne) Temple. She graduated from Hale Center High School in 1967. She attended West Texas State University in Canyon. Tyla was a fighter. She fought life's battles with great optimism. She was a devoted mother, daughter and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bobby. She is survived by her son, Colby Morrison and his wife Cari of Amarillo; her aunts and uncles, Mary Campbell, Gains and Alice Temple, Iva Dell and Dale Trull all of Lubbock. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation be to a local Multiple Sclerosis society.
