Vada O. Horton

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday at Llano Cemetery with J. Alan Ford, pastor of Oasis Southwest Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas Mrs. Horton was born in Munday. She lived in Amarillo most of her life. She was a homemaker and a devoted Christian. She had love and compassion for everyone, especially Jews. She married Earl N. Loper in 1935. He preceded her in death in 1966. She married Garland Horton in 1968 at Amarillo. Survivors include: her husband of the home, 1 daughter; Christy E. Horton and her husband Garland M. Horton, Jr. of Lake Tanglewood, 1 son; Don Loper and his wife Linda of Amarillo, 3 grandchildren; Brad Loper, Kim Horton and Janice Arcabacio and 3 great-grandchildren.
