Valeria Inette Kidd

Valeria I. Kidd 81, of Amarillo, died Thursday, April 11, 2019 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 pm Friday, April 12, 2019 at Llano East Cemetery with Lynn Rector officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Kidd was born in Harpersville, MS on November 24, 1937 to Robert and Berta Mae Stewart. She lived in Mobile, AL several years before moving to Amarillo in 1962. Valeria was a single mom and worked hard during her life to provide for her family. She was employed by Levi Strauss for many years. She retired from High Plains Religious Book Store where she worked as a receiving clerk. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time. She is survived by two sons, Darrell Kidd and his wife Audra of Frisco and Darius Kidd of Amarillo; two daughters, Sena Ashton and her husband Ray and Lorraine Baca all of Amarillo; two brothers, Dwight Stewart and Robert Stewart both of Amarillo; two sisters, Cassandra Booth of Amarillo and Margaret Henderson of Mobile, AL; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
