Verna Jean Snow

Verna Jean Snow. 75, passed away August 14, 2015 in Amarillo after a short illness. Graveside Services were at 4:00 pm on Friday in Llano Cemetery. Arrangements were by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas 79103 Verna was born to Theodore and Dorothy Huenergardt on December 2, 1939 in Selman, OK. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1957. On April 10, 1960 she was married to Edgar Leland Snow in Buffalo. In the course of their marriage they lived in California, Laredo, TX and Amarillo. She was involved in Luther Womens Missionary League, had been a Sunday school teacher, vacation bible school volunteer and other church activities. Over the years, she served as an officer of the Texas Refrigeration Owners Association Auxiliary. Verna enjoyed cooking and reading. She is preceded in death by her husband, a daughter; Deborah Jean, sisters; Mary Lola and Clarene, Brothers James Louis and Clarence. She is survived by a son; Troy Snow and wife Becky of Amarillo, a brother; L.O. Huenergarnt of Shattuck, OK, a sister; Theda Feye Miller of Owasso, OK. Two grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews
