Vincent E. Mays

Vincent E. Mays 45, of Amarillo died Thursday March 29, 2012 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Llano Cemetery with Mark Urquhart, pastor of First Christian Church of Panhandle officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Mays was born in Amarillo. He graduated from Tascosa High School in 1985. He began his career in the jewelry business in 1987. He owned and operated Vincent's Custom Jewelry for the past 5 years. Mr. Mays enjoyed keeping up with current events and trivia. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy E. Mays in 2003. He is survived by his step-mother, Marilyn Mays of Amarillo; his mother, Bernadette Brelsford of Bridgeport, Conn; 1 brother, William Mays of Burleson; a sister, Anna Davis of Derby, Conn; and numerous other family members. The family requests memorial donations be to LifeGift or the American Kidney Foundation.
