Vincent Van Vincens, 72, of Amarillo died Sunday, November 8, 2020. Graveside services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery at 11:00 am Monday, November 16, 2020, officiated by Dick Marcear with Church of Christ Colonies. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Vincent was born in Dodge City Ks. August 3, 1948, to Ellen and Edward Vincent Sr. He graduated from Tascosa highschool in 1966. After high school, Vincent attended South Eastern University in Hammond Louisiana graduating with his bachelor in accounting in 1972. He was a crafty person who had a passion for cars. He enjoyed building model cars. He bought numerous books on different car manufactures and could tell a lot about a car based on little details such as headlights. Vincent had a great sense of humor. He became a banker because the tv show "The Beverly Hillbilies" made being a banker look fun. He loved his brother and sister and would always tell jokes with them. He loved his nieces and nephews endlessly. Vincent looked forward to seeing the pictures of them smiling and keeping up with them. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Edward Vincens Jr. He is survived by his three sisters; April Maas and her husband David, Suellen Cross and her husband Steve, Roberta McLaughlin and her husband Ken, seven nieces; Kimberly, Lorna, Michelle, Charity, Yvonne, Ann Marie, and Christina, and three nephews; Jeff, Mark, and Joshua.
