Violet Stacks

Violet Stacks, 78, of Amarillo, died Thursday May 11, 2006 in Amarillo. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday in Llano East Cemetery, with Cindy Morgan, of House of Prayer in Borger Texas, officiating. Interment will be at Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage. Mrs. Stacks was born in Clarksville, Arkansas. She married C.B. Stacks in 1952 at Federal, Arkansas. She loved to cook, enjoyed listening to bluegrass music and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a caring and compassionate person. She was a devoted wife and mother. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bean on April 2, 2006. Survivors include her husband, C.B. Stacks of the home; four sons, James Bean of Amarillo; Roy Bean of Ft. Worth; William Allen Bean of Arizona; and Mack Henry Bean of Marshall, TX; two daughters; Joyce Yeatts of Fritch, and RoseMary Minton of Naples TX; a brother, Odis Cameron of Costa Mesa, Calif., and a sister, Ora Mae Clarey of Ozark Arkansas; 22 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
