Virginia Alford

A memorial gathering will begin at 1:00 pm til 5:00 pm Monday, June 27 at 1407 Carter. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Virginia was a great wife and loving mother and friend, she took care of us in time of need. She was a seamstress and a good one at that, until rheumatoid arthritis set into her hands. Then she was an awesome cook. Virginia always had good things to say about all her kids. She was willing to do anything for her kids, and was a mother to many others. She cared about her kids even when they were not hers and that's what made Virginia an awesome mom. We will miss her, but at least your in great company in heaven with your father. You will hurt no more. God Bless you.She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include 3 sons, Carl, Calvin, and David Alford all of Amarillo.
