Virginia Mizell

Virginia Mizell 91, of Amarillo, died Monday, December 4, 2017 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Northlawn Cemetery in Dumas with Ricky Pheil officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Mizell was born on Nov. 24, 1926 in Red Oak, OK, to Lloyd and Mandy Booth. She moved to Amarillo in 2002 from Dumas. Virginia enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Accelerate Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Mizell in 1999. She is survived by one son, Lee Venable and his wife Judy of Kearney, NE; three daughters, Janice Stevenson and her husband Terry of Dumas, Sherry Rawlings and Joyce Shull both of Amarillo; three siblings, Dewayne, Darrel and La Donna all of Oklahoma; eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
