Virginia Baca Muro, 86, of Amarillo, died peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, November 14, 2022. Virginias family will return her remains to her cherished roots to be buried alongside her mama and daddy, as were her wishes. A graveside service will be held at La Capallita del Santo de Atocha in Dahlia, NM. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Virginia was born in Dahlia, NM to Eloy Baca and Corina Romo Baca on March 31, 1936. She moved to Amarillo, TX in 1956. In 1986 she met the love of her life, Bobby Putman. They remained together for the rest of her life. Her passion was caring for the elderly and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a bizarre sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. She enjoyed country/western music and loved to dance. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother and father, siblings: Leroy Baca, Seferina Baca, and Arturo Baca, her son, Francisco Muro, Jr., and great-grandson Cameron Nasir Worthy, Jr. She was survived by her beloved Bobby Putman, children: Christina and Roman Bunn of Amarillo, Diana Lacquement of Austin, and Gilbert and Lisa Muro of Amarillo, her brother Dan Baca of Amarillo, her grandchildren: Brandon Rook, Crystal Trevino, Shawna Muro, Steven Rosas, Erica Davis, Destani Bird, Andre Lacquement, and Kala Bunn and many beautiful great-grandchildren: Mariah, Jonathan, Patience, Bear, Antonio, Beau, Bailor, Matthew, Hannah, Isaac, Emory, Christopher, Everly, Mia and Charli Joe.
