Virginia C. Scott

Virginia C. Scott, 77, of Amarillo died Saturday January 14, 2012 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Ms. Scott was born in Mineral, Texas. She moved to Amarillo in 1987 from Houston. She was a homemaker. Ms. Scott loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to garden. She was preceded in death by a son Juan Martinez in 2001. She is survived by 3 daughters, Sara Montera-Santiago of Amarillo, Juanita Zermeno of Titusville, FL and Ellie Tirado of Canyon; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; she is also survived by several brothers and sisters. The family suggests memorial donations to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer Center.
