Virginia Molly Wolf

Virginia Wolf 83, of Amarillo died Friday January 30, 2009. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Private family burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday January 30, 2009. She was born on May 31, 1925 in Fort Townson, OK to Elmer and Leona (Bridges) Norwood. She was the 4th of 5 children. Virginia grew up in Wellington. She moved to Amarillo in 1963 from Wellington. Virginia worked at the Hollywood and the Flea Market for several years where she made many dear friends. Her life was characterized by kindness, cheerfulness, generous service and love to her family, friends and neighbors. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, who made this world a better place. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.She married Eli Wolf on March 8, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son Victor Wolf in 1994. The family would like to thank Janet Reed, Linda Martinez and Margaret Palacio for the wonderful care they gave our mother. She is survived by 1 daughter, Kathy Culp and her husband Rickey of Amarillo; 1 son, Mike Wolf and his wife Claudia of Scottsdale, AZ; 1 granddaughter, Lindsey Perry and her husband Chas of Bridgeport, WV; 1 grandson, Kris Culp and his wife Allison of Amarillo; and a great-granddaughter Molly Culp (her namesake) of Amarillo.
