Walter Eugene Andreas 01/28/1941 11/02/2017 Walter Eugene Andreas, age 76, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017. Walt was born in Geneva, NY on January 28, 1941 to Bruno and Margaret Andreas. He moved to Amarillo, TX where he was owner and operator of Walts Fencing Company for many years. One of his favorite pastimes was playing bingo with friends and family. Walt is survived by his children: Tina Anderson and husband John of Amarillo, TX; Patricia Young of Amarillo, TX; Richard Young of Ovid, NY; Vaughn Horton and Lonnie Andreas of VanBuren, AR; Curtis Andreas and wife Jennifer of Covington, LA; Sarah Jackson of Geneva, NY; Erica Wimberly and husband Jovan of Sherill, NY; LaTasha Baker and husband Dan of Auburn, NY and Nona Bedford of Hennessey, OK. He is also survived by sisters: Ruth Arno and Linda Devilli of Seneca Falls, NY and Eleanor Hudd and husband Jeffery of Amherst; Brothers: Robert Andreas and wife Linda of Lafayette, TN; James Andreas of Seneca Falls, NY; half brothers, Richard Pollard of South Carolina and Orval Pollard of Tennessee. In addition, Walt had 32 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruno Andreas; his mother, Margaret Andreas; two sons, Bobby and Michael; daughter, Tammy and brothers, Charles and William. The family will gather for remembrance of Walt at a later date.
