Walter Baumberger

Walter ""Walt"" Baumberger, 73 of 4419 Summit Circle, died Sunday, May 5, 2002. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday at Rector Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dana Moore, pastor of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Baumberger was born in Lansing, Ohio. He moved to Amarillo in 1971. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1971. After his retirement, he worked at Pantex 17 years as an inspector. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jewel in 1996. He married Janette Bolin in 1997 at Panhandle. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Marsh and a brother, Jack Baumberger. Survivors include his wife of the home, 2 daughters; Darla Marquez and Rondala McBride both of Amarillo, 1 sister; Betty Ann Baumberger of Bridgeport, OH., 2 brothers; Jim Baumberger of Gillette, WY., and Don Bauberger of Bridgeport, OH and 4 grandchildren
