Walter Glen Hart

Glen Hart, 66, of Amarillo died Saturday August 29, 2015 in Amarillo Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Carolyn Gable officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Glen was born on August 9, 1949 in Amarillo, Texas to John and Lois Hart. He graduated from Amarillo High School. Glen worked for Medley as a parts manager and retired after 35 years. On August 9, 1973 he married Sherlyn Coy Burros in Dumas. he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Glen admired old cars, and enjoyed working outside doing yard work and wood working. he is preceded in death by his parents, a brother; Floyd Pete Hart, and a uncle; William Evans. he is survived by his wife, three sons: Jason Hart, Tim Hart, and Eddie Hilton, a daughter; Dovela Hart, and a daughter in law; Diane Hart all of Amarillo, seven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one on the way.
