Wanda W. Cole

Wanda W. Cole, 84 of Amarillo died Friday February 22, 2008 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday March 8, 2008 at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Richard Higley, chaplain of Vista Care Hospice officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Cole was born in Tampa, FL. She was raised in Quanah and moved to Amarillo in 1980 from Fort Worth. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She married Arthur Cole on September 12, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980 and a granddaughter, Christie Belveal in 2004. Survivors include: 2 daughters, Donnetta Robinson of Amarillo and Patricia ""Pat"" McWhorter of Shamrock; 1 sister Margarette ""Pat"" Cox of Amarillo; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
