Wanda Lea Holliday

Wanda Lea Holliday 78, of Amarillo, died Saturday July 14, 2007 at Amarillo. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Mrs. Holliday was born in Carey, Kansas. She moved to Amarillo in 1957 from Coffeyville, Kansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Bolton St. Baptist Church. She married Harold J. Holliday in 1952 at Cherryville, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2004 and a grandson, Marcus King in 1995. The family would like to express a special thank you to all the caregivers at Angels In Charge. Survivors include: 4 daughters, Jeannie White and husband Bob of Claude, Becky Stavenhagen and husband Bob of Amarillo, Valda Ledbetter and husband Jerry of Dumas, and Vickie Vela and husband John of Waco; 1 sister, Helen Robison of Ark City, KS;1 brother, Miles T. Miller of Ponca City, OK; 11 grandchildren, Tammy, Jimmy, Karen, Bobby, Veronica, Lanita, Johnny, Frankie, Vanessa, Valerie, and Christie, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
