Wannie Cyphers

Wannie Cyphers, 85, of Amarillo, died Monday, January 30, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM in Rector Funeral Home, Osage Chapel, with Stephen Swint of Calvary Pentecostal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 South Osage Amarillo, Texas 79103. She married Robert Cyphers on March 4, 1939 in Holbert, Oklahoma. They moved to Amarillo in 1966 from Altus, Oklahoma. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death her husband, Robert, on January 29, 2003 and also by a granddaughter, Jerolyn Sirmon in 1979. She is survived by three daughters; Barbara Smith and her husband, Lester, of Amarillo; Donna Norton and her husband, Eddie, of Mangum OK; and Carolyn Flowers, and her husband, Wayne, of Lilburne Georgia; a son Robert Cyphers and his wife, Sue Ellen of Chattanooga Tennessee; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
