W.F. ""Skinny"" Berry, 83, of Amarillo died Friday January 6, 2006 at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center. Services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel with Bradley Spear, associate pastor of Oasis Southwest Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 South Coulter Amarillo. Mr. Berry was born in Tulia. He served in the Navy during WWII in the Southern Pacific. He owned and operated Berry Custom Backhoe Service from 1964 to 1983. He moved to Amarillo in 1986. He was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Berry in 1995 and his first wife Edith Marie in 1993, a sister Lorene Elkins and 2 brothers, W.A. Berry and Jack Berry. Survivors include: his wife; Wanda of Canyon, 3 daughters, Karyne King and Joan Berry-Shields and her husband Don all of Amarillo, and Cathi Wilkins of Denver, CO, 1 son, Jimmy M. Berry and his wife Dorothy of Amarillo; 2 step-sons, Jerry Kincaid and Tim Kincaid both of Amarillo; 2 sisters, Moree Payne of Fritch and Mildred L. Byram of Tulia; 1 brother, Floyd Berry of Englewood, CO, 12 grandchildren, Tisha Berry, Kimberly Berry, Anisa Kenemore, Tina Wilde, Mike Berry, Steven Berry, Greg Berry, Shannan Doss, Gary Smith, Destiny Wilkins, Crista Kincaid and Emily Kincaid; 10 great-grandchildren, Mathew Berry, Devin Berry, Austin Berry, Kainan Berry, Kylee Curry, Cody Curry, Paxton Wilde, Luke Doss, J.J. Kenemore and Michael Kenemore. The family requests memorial donations to Olivia's Angels c/o BSA Hospice.
