Willa Lee Horn

Willa ""Chick"" Nelson Horn, 88 of Amarillo died Wednesday August 15, 2007. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Llano Cemetery with Bill Mader, son-in-law officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Horn was born on August 9, 1919 at Cushman Arkansas to Oscar and Myrtle Nelson. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life dedicated to serving her family. She married Jim Horn on June 11, 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jim, and her sister Claudia. Survivors include: 2 daughters Judy Mader and her husband Bill of Rio Rancho, NM and Jerrie Christie and her husband Keith of Amarillo. 4 grandchildren; Tina Jones and Lisa Mark, both of Midwest City, OK, Melanie May of Plano and Bryan Christie of Plano, and 9 great-grandchildren; Shelby, Greg, Christian, Autumn, Chase, , Mackenzie, Katherine Christie, Natalie Willa, and Mondi. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Olivia's Angels in care of BSA Hospice 600 North Tyler Amarillo, TX 79107.
