William Charles Mitchell

William Charles Mitchell, 80 of Spring Creek, NV died Wednesday, Nov 12, 2003 in Elko, NV. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Monday at Llano Cemetery with Bobby Medford, associate pastor of San Jacinto United Methodist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Mitchell was born in Trinidad Colorado. He served in the Navy during WWII with the Seabees. He lived in several areas of the Texas panhandle where he farmed and ranched. In 1974 he moved to Spring Creek, NV. Mr. Mitchell worked as a delivery driver for ABC Freight Lines. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping. He married Nina Higgins in 1947. He was preceded in death by his wife in March and a son Phillip Charles Mitchell. Survivors include: 1 son; James Sullivan ""Sully"" Mitchell of Burlington, CO and 2 grandsons; Anthony and Ben of Burlington, CO.
