William H. Pittman

William H. ""Bill"" Pittman 65 of Amarillo died Tuesday March 4, 2008 in Amarillo. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Family Life Fellowship Church with Dale Travs, pastor officiating. Cremation was by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel 2800 S. Osage St. Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Pittman was born in Columbiana, OH. He moved to Amarillo in 1999 from Bakersfield CA. He worked as a fuel transporter for many years. He enjoyed sprint car racing. He served in the Navy during Vietnam. After his retirement, Mr. Pittman worked in the electronics department at Wal Mart on Coulter. He married Christa Romero in 2000 at Amarillo. Survivors include: his wife, 3 daughters, Rhonda Pittman of Las Vegas, NV, Kimberly Pittman of Portland, OR, and Isabelle Pittman of Bakersfield, CA; 1 son, William Pittman, Jr. of Bakersfield, CA, 4 sisters, Barbara Sandy of Columbiana, OH, Carol Pittman of Columbus, OH, Bonnie Raley of New Waterford, OH and Brenda Lee Miller of Amarillo, 4 brothers, Albert Pittman of Coulterville, CA, Larry Pittman of Houston, Donnie Pittman of Blythe, CA and Fred Evans of Amarillo and 4 grandchildren.
