William Grey "Bill" Sparks died Saturday April 11, 2020. Memorial service will be 1 pm Friday August 21st at Trinity North Fellowship Church officiated by Beau Williams. Graveside service will follow at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. William was born August 21, 1934 to Lola Elvira Philyaw and Roy Leslie Sparks in Perryton. He was a hardworking man. He was a proud, loving father, grandfather, and great-grand father. His family meant the world to him. Mr. Sparks was a well-known butcher in the area, known for his chili and potato salad. He was also a jokester and prankster. When asked how old he was he always responded back with "21". He enjoyed traveling and camping, bowling, and taking care of his house. William was preceded in death by his parents, His wife, Dixie, two brothers Allen and Bobby Sparks, and one sister Patricia Villines. He is survived by his son, Jim Sparks and his wife Lesa, two daughters; Cindy Costa and her husband Fred, and Kim Carroll and her husband Gary, sister, Sue Ortega, seven grandchildren; Jantzen, Azia, Kim, Michelle, Kris, Jimmy Grey, and Joshua, and twelve great-grandchildren.
