William Louis Wallis, 93 of Amarillo died Wednesday April 16, 2014 in Amarillo. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Louis Clark, senior pastor and Jeremy Shreiner, pastor of Life Tabernacle Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:0o PM Monday at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, CO. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Wallis was born in Denver. He moved to Amarillo in 1999 from Denver. He worked as a cabinet maker for many years. He was an avid fisherman and Denver Broncos fan. Mr. Wallis served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He married Helen Horn in 1964 at Denver. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1996 and 2 sons, William "Bill" Wallis and Robert Martin Wallis. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church. Mr. Wallis is survived by his daughter, Linda Galvin and her husband Jerry of Amarillo; 2 step-daughters, Sue Vitgnos of Littleton, CO and Kathy Johnston and her husband Mike of Nebraska; 6, grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
