William Earl Walters

William Earl ""Dutch"" Walters 64, of Amarillo died Friday March 30, 2012 in Amarillo Services will be at 11:00 AM Monday at Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel with Carroll Monroe, Son in Law officiating. Interment will be at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Walters was born in Bakersfield, CA. He moved to Amarillo in 1983 from Hereford. He worked at A-Z tires for more than 20 years. He also worked at Firestone GCR for 11 years. He married Christine Levario on October 18, 1975 in Hereford. He was an avid college football fan and loved watching the University of Oklahoma Sooners. Mr. Walters was a quiet and loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters. He is survived by his wife Christine of the home; 2 daughters Terrie Monroe and her husband Carroll and Carrie Walters, all of Amarillo; 1 son William Walters, Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Amarillo; a sister, Addie King of Oklahoma City, OK; and 9 grandchildren.
