Willie Mae Barham

Willie Mae Barham 102, of Amarillo died Monday, April 1, 2019 in Amarillo. Family interment will be at Flomot Cemetery in Flomot. Cremation and arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Mrs. Barham was born on December 11, 1916 in Flomot to Harve and Ollie (Hawkins) Wimpee. She was raised in Flomot and Quitique. She was a homemaker and seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting and especially loved canning fruits and vegetables in the fall, which she did for more than 85 years. Mrs Barham enjoyed caring for her family in every way she could. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Homer Walker in 1946 and her second husband, Doyle Barham in 2000. She was also preceded in death by a son, Dorman "Butch" Walker in 2014. She is survived by two sons, Winfred Walker and his wife Pam and Doyle Walker all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
