Bill Thomas 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday April 7, 2010 at the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Amarillo. No services are scheduled. Viewing will be from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Friday. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Bill was born in Kenedy. He served in the Navy from 1960 - 1966. He worked as a truck driver for 38 years. He received 2 safety awards during his truck driving career. He is survived his wife, Joanie of the home; 2 step-daughters, Stephanie Holland of Amarillo and Billie Jo Wokaly of Fort Worth; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
