Winnie Larue

Winnie O. Larue 88, formerly of Amarillo died Tuesday June 3, 2014 in Lodi, Wisconsin. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Llano Cemetery. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St. Winnie was born on September 5, 1925 in Henrietta to Roy and Ada Jacobs. She moved to Amarillo in 1952 from Wichita Falls where she had worked at Sheppard Air Force Base. Winnie worked at Southwestern Public for 20 years and for Silas-Mason-Hanger as a typist for 20 years. Winnie was a loving mother and daughter. She was very close to her mother and step-father, Richard Dodson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-father and her only sister, Edith Faye Lefors. She is survived by her son, Robert Bob LaRue and his wife Laura and a granddaughter, Chelsea LaRue all of Sun Prairie Wis.
