Wynelle Mary Albrecht Waldo, 79, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Bolton Street Baptist Church with Mr. Winston Curtis and Mr. Danny Cook officiating. A graveside service will be held at Llano Cemetery directly following the funeral. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home Osage Chapel, 2800 S. Osage. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Rector Funeral Home. Wynelle was a dedicated wife, mother, Mema, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a caregiver her entire life, often serving those outside her family. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, fishing, dancing and preparing activities and projects for her family, friends and those around her. She attended many athletic, music, dance, drama, and church events in which her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren participated, often recording the event on her iPad for others to watch. Wynelle was born November 4, 1941 to Richard and Luella Albrecht in Gary, IN. Wynelle graduated from High School in Phoenix, AZ. She married Glen E. Waldo, Sr. on April 30,1960. They raised four boys together in Wheeler County and operated several small businesses in Amarillo including WW Used Cars. Wynelle is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister and a son, Glen Waldo, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Glen E. Waldo, Sr, three sons, Boyd (Patty) Waldo of Amarillo, TX, Joey (Stephanie) Waldo of Ponder, TX, Gary Waldo of Amarillo, TX, and a daughter in law, Toni Waldo of Lubbock, TX.; ten grandchildren, Ashlee (Brian) Gwin, Erinn (Stewart) Campbell, Stanlee (Kaylee) Waldo, Rachael (Nicholas) Lutz, Gage Waldo, Spencer Waldo, Glen Earl Waldo III, Britt (Micah) Villarreal, Rylan Waldo, Jake (Ryleigh) Waldo; 3 great-grandchildren; one sister Lindi (Bruce) Koger of Buckeye, AZ, one sister-in-law Melba Cook of Kilgore, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to St. Judes Hospital or a charity of your choosing.
